Step 1: Prepare Banana Cake Batter
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Grease and flour cake pan.
In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, salt and set aside.
In a large bowl, add butter, white sugar and brown sugar and beat together until light and fluffy.
Add eggs one at a time followed by mashed banana and beat them together.
Add flour mixture alternately with the buttermilk to the creamed mixture.
Stir chopped walnuts.
Pour batter into the prepared cake pan.
Step 2: Bake the Cake
Place cake pan in the preheated oven and bake for 30 minutes.
Remove banana cake from oven and let it cool for few minutes on wire rack.
Step 3: Prepare Frosting
In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese and vanilla extract until smooth.
Gradually add confectioners sugar and beat just until combined.
Spread frosting over cake and decorate cake edges with frosting.
Step 4: Decorate Banana Cake
Finally decorate your cake with sliced bananas and strawberries.
