Step 1: Prepare Batter
Preheat oven to 350 F. Line bottom and sides of a square baking tray with foil and spray with a nonstick cooking spray over foil. Fill stockpot with a little water and bring water to a boil. Place heatproof bowl over stockpot in medium flame. Add butter and chocolate and allow it to gently melt over for about 10 minutes. When chocolate and butter are completely melted, stir gently with a wooden spoon or whisk. Turn off the heat and remove melted chocolate from the stockpot. Add cocoa powder, sugar and mix together well. Add vanilla extract, eggs, one at a time and mix well after each addition. Then add flour, salt, walnuts and mix well after each addition.
Step 2: Bake The Brownies
Pour batter into the prepared baking tray and bake for about 30 minutes. When brownie is done, remove brownie from the oven and let it cool on a wire rack for at least 10 minutes. Chill brownie in the fridge for 1-2 hours.
Step 3: Make Chocolate Frosting
In a bowl, add butter, cocoa powder, corn syrup, vanilla extract and beat until well blended. Add powdered sugar, milk and beat until smooth. Spread chocolate frosting over cooled brownie. Cut brownie into square pieces.
