Step 1: Boil the Potatoes

Peel and cut the potatoes into pieces. Bring a large pot of water to simmer and add the potatoes. Bring it to a boil and cook them. The potatoes should be cooked in such a way that they almost, but not completely fall apart. Drain the potatoes in a colander.

Step 2: Mash The Potatoes

Mash the potatoes allowing all the steam to escape. Add butter cubes, cream cheese and 1 cup full of half and half cream on the mashed potatoes. Mash properly! Next, add half teaspoon of salt and black pepper and mix well.

Step 3: Garnish and Serve

Serve with chopped chives and butter cube. Your Mashed Potatoes are ready. Enjoy!

  • 2 pounds of Yukon Golden Potatoes
  • 1 packet half and half cream
  •  ¾ cup butter, extra for serving
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • 1 packet Cream Cheese
  • ½ tsp Black Pepper
  • Chopped Chives for garnish
  • Water
