Step 1: Prepare Strawberry Cake Batter
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly flour round cake pan. In a large bowl, combine cake mix, strawberry-flavored instant gelatin and mix it well. Then add pureed strawberries, eggs, oil, and water. Mix well until smooth.
Step 2: Bake the Cake
Pour batter into the prepared cake pan and bake for 20 minutes. Remove cake from the oven and cool it for 10 minutes.
Step 3: Frost and Serve the Cake
With a sharp knife, cut the cake in 2 layers horizontally on the plate.Using a palette knife or spatula, spread some of the strawberry cream cheese frosting over the top of the base layer of the cake. Put some sliced strawberries over the frosting.Top with second layer and spread remaining frosting over the sides and top of the cake. Finally decorate your cake edges with frosting and top with strawberries. Your strawberry cake is ready. Enjoy!
