Step 1: Prep the Rice
To make Sushi rolls, firstly, add sushi rice in a bowl and put under tap water. Take a sieve and pour the rice into it to drain the water. Transfer the rice into a medium bowl. Add sushi rice and cold water in a saucepan. Turn on the stove and set the heat to medium flame. Cover the saucepan with a lid and cook rice for some time. Now turn off the stove and place the pan on a table. Remove the lid after ten minutes and then transfer the rice into an empty bowl.
Step 2: Cook Raspberry Rice
Take a bowl and place sieve over it. Put raspberries in a sieve. Press and mash the fruits using a spoon to get the juice out of it. Now add rice to the juice bowl and mix it well. Then cook plain rice. Pour rice vinegar in an empty bowl and add caster sugar to it. Place the bowl in the oven and cook for 30 seconds at 350 degrees. Once done, switch off the oven and place the bowl on a table. Add sugar and vinegar mixture into plain white rice. Mix it properly with a spatula.
Step 3: Make Sushi Rolls
Finally, it is time to make sushi rolls. For that, place a nori sheet on a cutting board. Take a handful of raspberry rice and carefully spread the rice out over the nori sheet. Roll the sheet and place it on a plate. Similarly, make 4 more rolls. Take another nori sheet and keep it on the cutting board. Then put the raspberry rice sheet roll-on the nori sheet and place a carrot slice at the center and roll the sheet. Keep this roll on a plate. Take a sushi mat and put it on a cutting board.
Step 4: Garnish and Serve
Place a nori sheet on top of the sushi mat and spread white sushi rice in the middle of the nori sheet. Sprinkle some oregano on it. Now keep the raspberry rice sheet roll on white rice and roll it. Roll the sushi mat and reopen it to compress the roll again.
Drop the sushi roll on a cutting board. Take a knife and cut the roll into six slices. Arrange these slices on a serving plate. Serve these sumptuous sushi rolls with soya sauce.
